As the riding season in much of the northern hemisphere is coming to a close for many of us in the coming month, production timelines will be the best of the year from now to the middle of January.

Production of custom orders ( parts or configurations not usually carried in stock) received after January 15th will be delayed by the two week long Chinese New Year Holiday starting February 15th.This holiday coincides with the start of our busiest season and production delays can result until the end of April as production struggles to make up a two to three week backlog. 

So, if you have a winter project planned, now may be the best time to consider getting your parts. This is particularly relevant if you are considering having color parts produced, have a bike that is more than ten years old, have a bike that hasn't sold in great numbers ( hence there being a low demand for parts) or if you're looking at configurations of weave and finish rarely seen on your make and model. And while we now carry an enormous inventory of parts with numerous configurations of the same part, it can happen that we temporarily sell out of your desired configuration.

If you have one of the new models that came out this year and are looking for parts that don't appear in our store, it is also a great time to participate in our development program.This program typically takes about two and a half months to make the molds and first carbon parts based on your OEM parts ( which we will take in exchange for new carbon parts at no cost to you ). Please check with us before sending us parts as we may already be developing parts for your bike.
