Review Frame Covers in 100% Carbon Fiber for Ducati XDiavel

The right side cover fit OK.
The quality of the finish was good.
The left side cover did not fit properly. When I tightened the screw holding it in place the front part of the cover popped out and would not stay in place. The OEM cover has two posts with oversize tabs on the end that are slightly larger that help hold the cover in place. On these Motocomposites CF covers the posts do not have these. Also the left cover rear post does not line up properly to be able to push into the rubber grommet that secures it. I had to remove the rubber grommet and leave it out so the rear post would be able to go into the hole. I wrapped electrical tape around the post so it would not vibrate and make noise.
I chose Motocomposites because of the reviews I read on the quality of their parts. I’d like to order more pieces and I’m hoping this experience was not typical. I will be contacting them and I’m hoping we can sort this out.

These are a great custom touch to my Xdiavel S. The part fit perfectly and I am very pleased. Ordered 100% carbon fiber in matte finish and it looks great with the gloss paint on my Xdiavel. The contrast a nice touch.
