Tail Fairing ( 1 piece design) in 100% Carbon Fiber for BMW S1000R 2014-2020, S1000RR 2015-2018

The finish of the product (like all the other pieces I received for my 2016 S1000RR) was superb.

However, the fitment was a little tough. MotoComposites went with a 1 piece design versus the OEM 2 piece design.

I thought I would prefer the 1 piece but the fit was so tight that if it was even off a little bit it was going to be very hard to keep in place... not because of their design but because of how BMW as everything on the tail "snap" together.

I was finally able to get everything to snap into place and bolts tightened down to secure it. Hopefully while going over hard bumps it does not "unsnap" itself and possibly cause damage. I will keep an eye on it for sure and report back to MotoComposites if it does.

I think they need to switch to the OEM 2 piece design as it allows a little more room for error on their end and possibly better/easier fitment.
